Product testing laboratories, including manufacturing laboratories, may be voluntarily accredited. In exceptional cases, some laboratories, such as independent laboratories that provide certification tests, provide economic accounting services, as well as laboratories that may be subject to accreditation by the state regulatory authority, are subject to mandatory accreditation. Accreditation testing laboratories must meet the requirements of AZS ISO/IEC 17025:2009 and comply with these requirements.
